Of course there was dancing!
Of course there was dancing!
I was nervous to be on the runway, but here I am in my new "Godey Nightfall". I have also made the Lola Midnight available as a RFL item, so if you see it in a vendor, its purchase proceed goes towards RFL...
Lady Patty and Puck enjoy the show...
Bastchild & Lapointe (designs below) were the featured designers, but there were also great pieces from Lapin Paris, Fuschia Begonia, Terry Lightfoot and yours truly!
Afterwards, we danced in Dame Lapin's lovely build as Dia spun goth tunes. Yes, I'm the one in the mourning veil...
Soon I was joined by Capt Paravane and Mr Alisdair Westland, a new visitor to Caledon and an interesting fellow. If you are in Mayfair, do stop by the park for a bit of peace with a good book...
Lord Primbroke got involved in a great discussion that Zoe and I were having about the latest lab declaration. While we do not believe that we aethernet journalers will be affected (hopefully), the policies are rather annoying just the same. As you can see, we are all dressed in our lawyer outfits (Lord Primbroke's barrister robes had not rezzed yet). I do believe that a law offices of Connolly & Laval advertisement would be run a bit like this:
Which made Mr Enoch decide to show me and Dia his marshmallow man, and upon crossing over into Caledon II, Miss Rothschild saw him and mentioned something about sweetness and needing a fork...
Mr Enoch had a bit of a citizen upon citizen griefing incident happen to him that I shall not go more into in here except to say that we were both very angry afterwards given that it was another Caledonian. Upon crossing over into Caledon I right afterwards, we started talking to Puck.
And Puck's wicker man was set afire as Deep One me and tiny CthulhuPuck watched...
After all of that excitement I was glad for coffee, cookies and a leaf chair in Port Caledon with Dia...Never a dull moment if you're with me!
Merchants left eggs all over, some clearly so, and others quite cleverly disguised...
And during the hunt, I discovered hidden places I hadn't known about. At one point, I sat chatting with Mr D.Hax as I took a break. Kudos to the organizers and residents for a fun hunt!
I'm sure we will be seeing them at future Caledon get-togethers...
After stopping through to congratulate Mr Smashcan on the opening of his new Norseman pub in Cape Wrath, Phin and I then went to the future 1950s-themed Team Caledon RFL Ladies Auction, where he ended up being the big bidder on me! The auction itself raised over $L328,000! Thank you all so much for coming out and participating!
A new friend, in exchange for a kindness of mine, gifted me with this gorgeous Friesian horse. The realistic look of this horse is incredible. I hope she will come out with a sidesaddle version, but it is still a work in progress by the maker and doesn't ride as well as my AKK and Tombolas (yet). But you know what they say about gift horses, so thank you very much sir!
You can visit the beautiful star theater upstairs...
And Mr Drinkwater was more than happy to brighten everyone's night...
You can click one of the main posters inworld to find out who all of us are, so I'll tell you what we could do if you bid on me!
- A Wynx tiny AV of your choice and a chance for a highflying adventure as a passenger with the Royal Caledon Air Force's Screamin' Tinies Squadron Leader herself!
- A spin around the Firth in the infamous "Suicide" Runner boat...
- Dancing, wine and great conversation under the stars in my meadow. If you haven't seen it yet, you won't forget it!
I can also give you a tour of some of the "secret" places of Caledon or we could do something else of your choosing!
I stopped through Sir Zen's Rez Day party to wish him a good one. I do love the "grey person" phenomena that has been rather dogging me as of late...
...And sweets at the Steelhead town meeting in the forms of Dia, Miss Myfanwy Davies and Miss Kara Timtam.
I thought I'd test Mr Denver Hax's Boojum Bomber, which has beautiful textures...
I took it for a few laps around the Firth. It handled sim crossings beautifully, was very (almost too) responsive, and...
Was the first tiny aeroplane (airships aside) that I've actually managed to land on the runway! I will test its TCS and bombing capabilities another time...
After the contests were decided we all got on stage with the musicians to jig...
And I stopped by the Steelhead Saloon for a moment. You would think it was a SLunday for all of the rezzing issues I was having today...
Which rendered everyone present at Mr Hassanov's birthday party at Miss Zymurgy's in Regency a very lovely shade of putty grey...
The latest issue of the Steelhead Anvil is out!
Mr & Mrs Mordecai & Kacy Scaggs hosted a party aboard their incredible Rakehell airship that hovers above the forest. The fae, furry and tiny all turned out to dance!
I could not help but wonder...what has happened to all of the tinies of Tangle? Didn't there used to be more? I am very often a tiny, but I don't really see others...
Either way, a knee-high critter such as myself was delighted by the spread, including tiny tea, wine and cake!
And I thought Miss Vandeverre looked lovely...
