Steelhead Goes Tiny for the Dogfights!

Tinies took to the air in Steelhead for two dogfights held in Port Harbor! Many, like Miss Krystine Qinan here, had never flown before and had a great time learning how. I was so tickled to see folks flying who had not done it before! Some of us posed for a photo on the runway after the 1 pm SLT dogfight...
The later one, held at 7, was also very popular and is was a lot of fun seeing Steelheaders as their tiny selves...
But the big surprise was Mrs Peterman, who despite an appendectomy the evening before, came inworld anyway to cheer us all on. Feel better and get well soon!
I'd like to thank Cornelius, Zoe, Phin and Lunar for helping me to organize it! It was tremendously fun. Thank you!

Tinies Dogfighting in Steelhead!

Oh, the huge manatees! As you can see, my flying was a bit rusty!

In conjunction with the "Summer of Flight" aviation exhibit at the Steelhead Public Library organized by Miss Riven Homewood and Mr Nichus Bermann, planes of all eras are out on display at the Ballroom and there will be a Tinies Dogfight in Steelhead Port Harbor on Wednesday, July 1!

The main dogfight will be at 7 pm SLT, but there will be an overseas-friendly one at 1pm SLT as well. Free tiny aircraft by Cornelius Fanshaw will be provided and everyone is welcome. Just bring your bravery and your tiny self!

Steelhead Post Office

One of the buildings that I have been hard at work on is the Steelhead Post Office Harborside Station! It is based upon the historic Martinson Cabin Museum in Poulsbo, WA and I had a great time building and tweaking/creating whole new textures for it. Much of the signage is inspired by RL historic post office signage and visit if only to go inside and read the post office hours! Miss Genie and I were talking outside of it and she has claimed PO Box #36.
I really want folks to come by and actually have fun using it regularly. Anyone may send fun Steelhead postcards with the LM in it to their friends in SL, so they can come and visit Steelhead for themselves. There is a dropbox for Steelhead suggestions and ideas out from and Lunar will be adding one for himself. I'll be adding more things to the post office soon, such as a general drop box for everyone if they want to write letters to one another and have them delivered. Enjoy!

After I talked to Genie, I was riding my little pony around town and came across Lunar's demon brother Chronos. He promised not to eat my pony (or me!) and we had a rather amiable chat...

Springtime Formal

Steelhead's Friday end of the month dance is always formal and this month's was celebrating spring. I couldn't resist...yellow and bunny just seemed very springtime-like to me!

The Messmers Get A Bit Squirrelly

It helps to have a partner who rather enjoys being a tiny squirrel as well sometimes. I thought I'd whip up a "Tiny Steampunk Lady" outfit similar to the "Tiny Steampunk Gent" that Phin is wearing...
Which certainly makes attending events together as the ValenTinies Dance at the Prop Spinners Pub in Steam Sky City a lot of fun!

Chugging Through Steelhead

I put on my sailor suit and chugged around Steelhead and its environs today after deciding to go out in my tiny coal powered boat by Ceorl Onlyone. This is the one I won the Firth Regatta in, but I have another by him as well and both are fantastic. They take sim crossings well and are FAST. What fun!

Mischief in Steelhead!

I wandered into the Steelbucks cafe in Steelhead Harborside. I found the coffee irresistable...
That seemed to be a bad idea as I ran amok hopping like a maniac through Steelhead afterwards. I jumped into the moss at Mr Eclipse's redwoods...And literally hopped right into the Duchess Sound, who then joined me in the fun. We could not stop laughing. We headed over to the Sheriff's pink flamingo-infested home and fired the cannon on his porch, to which Her Grace said "BEWM!" We tried to straighten the Sheriff's clock and got into a bit of mischief there before moving on...As we were admiring the statues at Town Hall, who should stroll by but Sheriff Fuzz! He took one look at me and groaned, saying "What are you two up to? If Eladrienne is a tiny, you are up to no good!" I told him that if he found pawprints in unusual places in his home, I had nothing to do with it. Dia said the same. He was rather unconvinced...

Caledon Firth Anniversary Regatta!

A year ago the Caledon Firth's expanse of central water void sims were created. They have become very popular and used for the recreation of Caledon's citizens for both aviation and sailing. Today, in an event hosted by Dia, the new Duchess of Sound, many of us came to celebrate with a regatta! I donned my European-style sailor's outfit...And took my fast little sailboat for a spin around the Firth...
Upon our return, we also took to the sky as well and I accepted a ride from DrBob Margulies in his new balloon by Miss Ilsa Munroe...We all flew along the Southern coast of the Firth from one end to the other, turning around to attend the formal...
DrBob and I decided to take a more direct route upwards to the dance platform upon reaching Sound. That is Lionsgate in the background...

Two Tiny Bunnies, One Big Adventure

I stood on top of the mountain at Steelhead Gardens admiring the view...Before hopping down...
As Lunar had just finished building Miss Katt's new home...That was a good enough cause for celebrating with an airship flight over the Firth of Caledon...
We also thought we'd explore the underwater builds at Argylle. Ooo...where does this tunnel lead?
To the mooring station! And still so much to see as there are new Caledon sims I have not yet visited! Oh, but you know that I shall!

Happy Birthday Baron!

I had a very lovely time in Steelhead tonight celebrating the Baron Wulfenbach's birthday! He is quite light on his feet I must say...After I had my dance with him, I put on one of my favorite dresses and danced as my squirrelly self with the evening's music presenter, the Duke of Murdann...
Later on that evening, after a breezy sail on the Firth, I settled into comfortable chairs at the Connolly Park gazebo with Phin in Mayfair...

Animal on the Track

As I was texturing the buildings of mini-Boomtown, I would get distracted by folks taking a spin around the builds on the train...I thought I'd check it out, but didn't realize the train would keep going with no one on it! I heard an "Oh no!" from Miss Davies. Nuuuuu! Well, at least it politely told me to get off the track as it hit me...

Tinies Fashion Show at the Loch

I put on the tiny version of my Regency RedGold dress and went to Loch Avie for the RFL Tinies Fashion show. You can see Mr . D. Hax in the background as a ferret wearing my Tiny Thom waistcoat ensemble...That infernal minion Mr Quan made an appearance, but for a good cause for once. He wore his hypnotic device in an effort to get others to donate...
Which led to a promise that if attendees donated 1000L$ Mr Peccable would dress up like a dark-haired Amazon princess and try to take him down!
And like all fashion shows, this one ended with Miss Discovolante as the lovely bride in one of her designs tossing out tiny bouquets...

Mr Quan Pays a Visit

I have had Dr Alter on my Evil Genius register for quite a while now, but this is the first time I have had a chance to meet her minion, Mr Quan, while I was at Mr Hassanov's place in Tamrannoch with Miss Connolly. Mr Quan gave a veiled threat and had a tiger set upon him, although I think it just wanted to play. I did tell him to tell his employer that I am watching their activities...is Hidden Paw active again?

Bunnehs in Glamorgan & SouthEnd

Mr Phin Messmer and I braved the weekend lag and I flew us from Penzance to the southern sims...as bunnies. We thought we'd explore the newest of Caledon's sims and started out in Mr Ambiant Kukulcan's Caledon Glamorgan, which we liked very, very much as it a steampunky dream...Ooooo...We looked across the water and I spotted the ferris wheel! "Look, Caledon SouthEnd!!!!" I said and we flew over...
SouthEnd is spectacular and Mr LittleBlackDuck Lindsay's buildings are gorgeous. We ran all over looking at the buildings. I can't wait to see what will happen here. It has such a wonderful layout!

The Few. The Proud. The Tiny.

The RCAF Screamin' Tinies were out in full force for a weekend of tiny dogfights over the Sound filled with thrills and spills!

(pictured: DrBob Margulies, Corn. Fanshaw, Zoe, Dia, Elle)

Dogfight #1 Saturday: Got taken down to 9 hit points before finding myself in a ditch somehow in Lionsgate...
Dogfight #2, Midnight SLT: The Crimson Koala (Lord Primbroke) appears. Here he is being pursued by Zoe...
Dogfight #3, Sunday: Miss Nika Dreamscape took some fun videos of the Squadron in action. Here we are defending HQ against sky pirate Alex Chadbourne...
Here is a poster I made with a fun motto I quipped while we were posing for it...
Afterwards, we all went to the Prop Spinner in SSC for their "Memory of Lara" event for RFL...
My tiny colleagues, as your Squadron Leader I salute you!

Busy Sunday!!

The dogfighting over the Sound wore me out...a swing was the solution...And afterwards, I headed to Tanglewood for Dame Lapin's birthday party! Wore my best pink dress and had cupcakes and a bunneh hat! Life is good!

Have Tiny Horse, Will Travel

I thought that perhaps I should take my pony Lila out for a ride. I am sure that if more folks had been out, seeing me galloping by as a tiny ferret would have been quite a sight. We ended our rather epic journey at Dark Lady Park in my beloved Mayfair, where someone had been kind enough to set out a horse trough with water!
