Dame Lapin, Lady of Tanglewood
Earlier I ran into Miss Paris in Victoria City, shopping for a dress for a very very special night for her! For all of her hard work and service to Caledon for the Relay for Life, she was made a Knight of Caledon and beknighted by the Vicereine. This could not have happened to a nicer person! "Hoooos" and "Huzzahs" for Dame Lapin, Lady of Tanglewood!!! So many of Caledon turned out for the beautiful ceremony, including the Light Horse militia who looked resplendent in their uniforms. Mr. 1wuz Gray unveiled a lovely poem in her honor. It was truly a special evening that I am glad to have been a part of. Many of us (me included) were wiping away tears...As Dame Lapin was hugging me, she was pounced from behind by Miss Lightfoot! Aiiggh! I could only giggle as we fell over the large tree root. I do hope that I'll be able to get the grass stains out of my dress. There was an informal formal dance afterwards, and I had a good laugh as Lady Lavendar gave folks poison kisses, causing them to collapse and then awaken groggily afterwards. Sir Zen, in his Highlands regiment uniform, was rather light on his feet as we danced... And afterwards, back in Mayfair I thought I'd play with my wonderful new toy that Sir Tele and I bought last night. Ahh...fire arrows...

It was lovely to see you last night!
I pray you lady, send your dress to the cleaners on my behalf. I shall take care of that!
(smiles)
