Aether Race

Prof. Messmer invited me to join him for a ride around Penzance as he had just purchased a new horse, Goddard. Prof. Messmer is the head of the Caledon Aethernautical Society, a division of the Royal Caledon Air Force that intends to focus on rocketry and enabling Caledon to move ahead in the race to be the first to have Victorian ladies and gentlemen in the aether beyond. He is currently working on the development of the Tartan 1 and 2 rockets. How very exciting, no?
