En Garde!

Sunday night, I was explaining to Friar Newbe that the SPD weapons system works on just about anything (one of the pirates said "even skillets!"), so when he showed me his lovely sword, I gave him a copy and it was on! It's not a bad system, and at this point I've tried almost all of them except Samurai Island's. If you're not doing weapons damage, the punching can too. We had a great time at the Newbe SteamWorks skyplatform slashing away!Too bad I had to take him down...

I must do that!!

I'm telling you...if that theory's correct, we could even use parasols as weapons with it!

I must say, Miss Laval, that I had a tremendously fun time being slaughtered repeatedly! I'm even thinking of creating a rezzable stage for the sky platform from which to hold such battles. 8-)

I am alarmed, though, that Miss Gustafson also wishes to kill me!

*laughs at Friar Newbe*

That was a great time, wasn't it? Your sky platform's lack of lag makes it even easier to do. I am going to have to test that skillet theory...Hmm. I wonder where I can find one!

Is this the system the Grand Duke and Duchess just introduced to Antiquity? I just received a notice earlier today, but... [pats pockets] I can't seem to lay hands on it now.

It sounded like they were planning on frequent fencing tourneys, too.

I believe the intro'd the actual En Garde fencing system.

This is SPD, which is the standard for naval and pirates in SL.

Well done, Miss Laval!

Where does one get a weapon and HUD for this? I'm only familiar with the Combat Samurai Island system.

Well done, boatswain!

And having seen you in actual combat on the shores of Sanchon, I can only say I am not too surprised. You are talented with the blade :)

Parasols are an option, yes.
Pirate Bobby tended to join the fray with a shovel, dressed as a grave digger, heh. Pretty much anything non scripted goes.

It is available in the shop of Chase Speculaas, e.g. in Jinsil. I can't remember the exact coordinates, but it should be somewhere around 150,200 or so.

Oh, and the system is free.. His shop contains a variety of blades, warhammers, pikes etc for it, and also the following that works with the system:

Flintlock pistol
Musket
Crossbow
Bow and arrows
