Werebeast Attack!!

I had been in Tanglewood taking photos for my shop and in a great conversation with Mr. Hax (who wrestled a squirrel--and was pinned) when fellow beast hunters started arriving. I heard Miss Paris' screams and quickly put on my talisman. Sure enough, the glow was great! The Beast was near! I pulled out my knife-pistol and hopped on Flashy. Mr. Susenko and I found Miss Paris collapsed upon the ground! I jumped off to see if she was alright. She had been kidnapped by it earlier!

The Beast ran rampant this night and later attacked again! The brave Miss Gustafson and I gave chase on our horses, and she managed to fire off some shots, but it was so fast! "Where is Miss Maertens?" we all wondered, and found her collapsed upon the ground as well! Dr. Mason was called upon to tend to both her and Miss Paris.

The Beast has grown bolder! I turned and...Aiiggh! It came towards me! I leveled my pistol, but it was so fast I was not able to get off a shot! It kept coming back for more and grazed Mr. Susenko in the thigh with its claws as it ran through our group. "I'd put silver nitrate on that," said Dr. Mason, who was kept quite busy drawing upon his healing skills. By then, many had answered the call. The beast had bled upon a stone from its wound and a sample was taken for further research.
What is to be done now that he has become a menace and not just a benign "jogger"? And, what of the blood and such found back at Susenko House? Was there another attack there? Where is its lair? There are dark things afoot...
And then, there came the dawn...

Mr. Hax may have been pinned by a squirrel earlier, but Mr. Hax also hit the beast with about ten thunderbolts while it was hiding behind a tree at Miss Maertens house.

He did a fine job with his weapon of choice, that is true!

He most certainly did! I did not witness it (hence the lack of a photo), but he told me about it later.

I do have photographic evidence of the blood left at the Susenko residence, if you wish to see. I arrived in Babbage shortly after the sun rose, and found Professor Nishi wounded. She later fainted in the garden of the Susenko residence, but has no recollection of doing so.
I, myself, got in a few swipes at the fiend, but to no avail. He will be caught. He knows not with whom he is about to tangle, as my claws are just as sharp and I have small stature and rapid reflexes on my side.
