Creative Sprees and Neighborly Chats

Lately, I have been on a roll at E.Laval Fine Clothing. Lots of new dresses for the women and a new Worker outfit called "Peat" for the gents and one called "Invent" for the ladies. "Invent" is based upon a female miner's outfit from the 1880s and has an apron and leather-patched knees. I think I'll wear it while building...Here is the advertisement for the "Calais", inspired by one of my favorite artists James Tissot...Still dressed from my shoot, I thought I'd stop by Mayfair to check on my shop like normal. I found my new neighbor across the tracks, Mr Bubba Daniels, there with his delightful hounds. I had called out greetings to Capt. Paravane as I passed the Chaiwallah tea house earlier and she came down the street to join us. There is something to be said about neighbors having a pleasant chat over the fence with one another...
And if not over the fence, taking the time to gather in places like one of our many pubs or even the Inkyboy Gallery in Regency to chat with neighbors and friends. The parlor is always open to anyone who'd like to sit and chat with one another, as I did with Dia and Gryffin later on that evening...

Just out of sincere curiosity: Are there ugly, uncool, obese or uninteresting people in second life? Is it really an ideal place to interact or do inhabitants get also into trouble because of the same reasons than in our first life?

I'd say yes to everything...

You have all types in Second Life, just as you do in real life--with the additional thing of being able to be non-human as well. But the thing is...it's not what you look like, but what your personality is like. At least that's what it should be. Remember, it's still someone real behind the avatar.

As for the second question, it's a great place for people to interact and connect and yes, you can get in trouble for the same things: pride, gossip, cheating...It mimics real life sometimes because of the real persons who are present. In the end, SL is what you make of it. Take care!
