The 2nd Snowflake Ball was held in Loch Avie. A dance card formal, I do enjoy these as it gives me a chance to meet and talk to gents I have not met before. You would be surprised about all the things you can chat about in 15 minutes! Lady Heron, while I felt swoony sometimes, you would be proud of me to know that I did not faint away!

I had a lovely time talking to Mr Hakonen, the owner of the Stephenson's Quarter steampunk area...

Capt. Ballinger told me how happy he is to be ending his wanderings and settling down in Cape Wrath...

And Mr Hassanov gracefully spun me while sporting a charming little rose in his top hat...
