Sailing on the Firth and Over Nessie

I took the Seredipity out for a spin...well, slow-going cruise. Phin gave it to me last year as a present for our one-year anniversary of being together. I thought I'd finally take it out on the Firth and set out from Messmer Harbor in Mayfair...
En route, I felt stuck on a prim or something and had to steer around it. Upon coming back it rezzed and I realized what I had almost run over. First duchesses and now Nessie? Oh dear...

Lord & Lady Fluffytail Set Sail

After coming from a friend's Rez Day party in Raglan Shire, I went to Steeltopia for the grand opening of the Pneumatic Club. Dia was the musical presenter and I had another surprise as Edwina was there as well! It has been quite a while since the three of us were at a dance together. Eds complimented me on the fluffiness of my tail and asked me what beauty products have I been using for it...
Afterwards, I convinced Phin to climb into my tiny sailboat and we sailed all over the waters of Steelhead...I moored the boat and we explored Shanghai. We found a door at Ho Ping's Knick Knack Paddywhacks. Being tiny rodents, we could not help but to be a bit curious. I was relieved when Phin made it back...

Enjoying the Sunset

One of my SL guilty pleasures in enjoying the sunset over the Firth with Phin at our place in Mayfair. I would have kicked my legs up on the table, but that would have been rather unladylike considering what I was wearing.

Happy Dances Throughout My Rez Day

Today has been a fantastic Rez Day, especially as I got to share most of it with those dearest to me. I did stop through Lady Amber's Imbolc Ball in the Moors again this year to celebrate the coming of Spring with a bit of Morris dancing...
Puck Goodliffe came inworld just for me and I danced my happy dance around him and his raven Ingrid as his wicker man blazed in front of his Caledon I home. If you are ever there, take a look at his address on his meter...it is special and one of the most unique in all of Caledon...My darling partner Phin and I managed a tango or two. As you can see, I continued to wear flowers in my hair for the rest of the evening...And upon returning to Laval Point minutes before my Rez Day's end, I found that Lunar had just brought greenery and Spring to Steelhead! I am a woman who enjoys the simple pleasures our life inworld offers, so that was indeed a fantastic thing. This has been a wonderful Rez Day indeed! Thank you everyone!

Scary Stories and Sunset Sailing

Steelhead concluded its Scary Stories Festival tonight with readings of tales of creepiness and things that go bump in the night by Col. O'Toole...And Miss Elegia Underwood, who was in character with her "zuvembie" look...Afterwards, I finally unmoored my yawl, the "Serendipity", and took Phin (brave soul) for a sail around the Firth...

Off On a Grand Adventure Together!

As Phin and I arrived in Port Caledon, I did not miss the bit of disgust that crossed the porter's face when he saw all of my travel trunks. We are going to travel the world for a while and see the sights. Given our tendencies to get into adventures together, someone had to pack the weapons and equipment! Hmm...I suppose Phin's one trunk does create quite a sense of overkill on my part...

Rivet Town Inventor's Expo

Phin and I took a quick trip to Rivet Town to see the Inventor's Expo, where I had a booth set up, along with many other inventors, designers and builders. We made our way to the boat launch to Rivet Beach...We walked around and came upon Miss Selkett Felwitch, who created a most unusual and simply elegant steampunk air vehicle. Sleek and lovely, its wings expand and contract. She will be making it available soon in her shops and I am glad as I was enchanted by it and look forward to flying it in the future.

Four Simple Words...

This past year together with Phin has been fantastic and I am honored to now be this wonderful gentleman's partner...

As Phin threw open the doors to his--our--house in Penzance and carried me into it today, he looked at me and said "Welcome home, Mrs. Messmer..." Who knows what future our life inworld together will bring? All I know is that today, I can not stop smiling...

A Nice Evening on the Water

Phin is now the new owner of the NW corner Connolly Park parcel in Mayfair. It's a really lovely place to sit by the waters of the Firth and watch the sun go down...The gazebo, lighthouse and docks are open for visitors to use and it is a great place to sail from. We thought we'd celebrate under the stars with some of the wine from my vineyard. Newbe was ever so kind to help me with the bottling process...

Roaming Babbage Palisade

Phin and I thought we'd take a walk around Babbage Palisade and had a look at the new Academy of Industry...We explored its empty halls and rooms...
And in another build, found this curious contraption...could it be from a future yet to happen?

Caledon RFL Swashbuckler's Auction

Ah, today is was the men's turn, and thanks to generous bidders today's Caledon RFL Swashbuckler's Men's Auction raised over L$287K, which brings Team Caledon back into 3rd place in SL overall with a total raised so far of L$1,350,700!The posters were created by portrait artist Mr Jaksoi Pak. Three of my favorite gents were brave enough to put themselves on the block today: My dear friend Sir Tele, who I actually met at and became good friends with after last year's event...
Talented steampunk inventor and my wonderful building and business partner Kheph...
And Phin, the gent who makes me rather giddy on a regular basis that I actually won my bid on!
Everyone had a good time dancing in their pirate-y best, including Dr Bob Margulies here!

Caledon-Winterfell Ball

Tonight was the Winterfell-Caledon Ball celebrating the joining of our two nations. I heard it had crashed the sim at its original Winterfell location, so it was relocated to Cape Wrath...My escort for the evening was Prof. Messmer and thanks to RL and computer problems I arrived at the end of the 8th dance. Look at all the lovely gray people!
At least I had finished making my dress and I was happy with it. We indeed made the most of it and I enjoyed dancing with him...
Afterwards I put on a warm coat and we went skating in our finery at Steelhead...
