A Molten Surprise

Kheph brought me over to our shared shop in Steeltopia to see his most recent addition to it...the smelting pot from our tower. A part of me was tickled at the thought of its constant tip and flow over the heads of visitors until I then remembered that dying a rather painful melting death was probably not good.

You may now see it on the side of the shop...

And It All Came Tumbling Down...

Many thanks to Mr. Crap Mariner for filming this fun machinima of our Tower at the Rezzable Garden being demolished. It was quite the takedown!! It was fun while it lasted, and thanks to Mr Madcow Cosmos for coming to see it and then destroying his own!

A Clockwork Tower....

Last night I stood at the base of our Tower looking up at it and enjoying it all for the last time. What a beautiful structure it was and Kheph and I are glad that so many enjoyed it...I looked over the now deserted garden, its terrains a psychedelic kaleidoscope of textures...
With our witnesses in place, we dropped it...gears and glass and copper flying everywhere...
As we stood among the rubble, we both agreed...it had been a wonderful run. Let's do something like it again soon!

What? No Water?

I am always game to test and ride in my friends' air vehicles. My reputation as a "crash test dummy" seems to precede me. Mr Enoch gave me a ride in his new airship skybox and I was all set to open my parachute given my past experiences. I settled into the comfortable seat as we cruised the skies above Eyre. After he stopped I realized something rather important: It was the first time I have ever been in an air vehicle with him and did not end up underwater somehow!

Caledon RFL Swashbuckler's Auction

Ah, today is was the men's turn, and thanks to generous bidders today's Caledon RFL Swashbuckler's Men's Auction raised over L$287K, which brings Team Caledon back into 3rd place in SL overall with a total raised so far of L$1,350,700!The posters were created by portrait artist Mr Jaksoi Pak. Three of my favorite gents were brave enough to put themselves on the block today: My dear friend Sir Tele, who I actually met at and became good friends with after last year's event...
Talented steampunk inventor and my wonderful building and business partner Kheph...
And Phin, the gent who makes me rather giddy on a regular basis that I actually won my bid on!
Everyone had a good time dancing in their pirate-y best, including Dr Bob Margulies here!

Rezzable Garden of NPIRL Delights Open!

What has had Kheph and me building like crazy for over a week now? Our build for the Rezzable Garden of NPIRL Delights, based upon the work one of my favorite artists, Hieronymous Bosch! The Festival opens today and is a must-see with some of SL's best creators together on four sims! Other Caledonians present are Mr Darkle Sands and Miss TheDove Rhodes! My original vision was "aethereal steampunk" and inspired by the central "Earth" panel of the triptych. It has been a truly collaborative experience and every time one of us visited, the other had added something new...The builds there are amazing and I can promise you that you won't be disappointed! We had a lot of fun making this and hope you will enjoy it too! And yes...I am riding a flying fish...

Boomtown, Gargoyles & Wanderings

Walking into Steelhead Town Hall, I saw the latest map of Boomtown. The chickens and cows made me laugh...Lots of hoooo'ing and craziness as always at the town meeting...
Earlier, I had stopped through the new Rusty Prop pub, a new hangout for the RCAF...
And somehow ended up at Mr Enoch's new shop in Morgaine with a gargoyle across my lap...
Otenth has invited me to have a vendor at his new place in Winterfell Laudanum, "Otenth's Folly". I thought I'd go over and see it and sometimes, just sometimes...even in here you see sunsets that make you stop and stare.
