Grape Stomping and a Diplomat's Ball

I walked down the way from Laval Point in Steelhead Harborside to Miss Riven Homewood's new winery, where she was having a harvest festival dance...
I could not help but to stomp a few grapes myself...Miss Homewood's lovely spread...Afterwards, I managed to get the wine stains off of me and looked presentable for the formal Diplomat's Ball in Caledon Penzance, to celebrate not only Penzance's 1st anniversary, but the embassies of Steelhead andAdam ondi Ahman... Afterwards, I walked down the way, untied my bustle and relaxed at my Penzance home. What a fun, busy evening! I could really use a cup of tea right now...

RCAF Anniversary

On a lighter note, I went to Connolly Aerodrome in Penzance and celebrated the first anniversary of both the Aerodrome and the Royal Caledon Air Force with its founder Zoe Connolly and other pilots and well-wishers. I do believe a good time was had by all...

Four Simple Words...

This past year together with Phin has been fantastic and I am honored to now be this wonderful gentleman's partner...

As Phin threw open the doors to his--our--house in Penzance and carried me into it today, he looked at me and said "Welcome home, Mrs. Messmer..." Who knows what future our life inworld together will bring? All I know is that today, I can not stop smiling...

Boomtown, Under Construction & Cavorite

The plans for Boomtown were unveiled tonight at the Steelhead town meeting. Loosely based upon the Columbia River Gorge on the Oregon border, it will be to the South of Steelhead City and will have mines running underneath it and into the mountains, as well as have a dam. You may contact TotalLunar Eclipse to be placed on its waiting list...While walking in Penzance with the Professor, we had a good time looking at the outside of Miss Orr's home. You must see this for yourself, as the little clever details will make you smile...
I put up a display of a gorgeous cavorite sample given to Cape Messmer by Horg Neurocam, creator of the Cavorite Mines in the Moors and the floating mountain in Morgaine. We had a lot of fun talking and I was tickled to finally meet Caledon's esteemed mineralogist...

Solarya and a Tiny Dancer

I met Mr Enoch in SteamSky and he showed me a new build that he is working on for Sir Zen's scripting school. Rather exciting I say, as I am godawful at scripting. It would be nice to learn a few things...Afterwards, we went to Solarya (where we are both merchants) and took a balloon tour...
Later on that evening, in the spirit of Chinese New Year, Steelhead had a party celebrating all things Asian...
From there, this partying tiny went to Caledon Penzance to celebrate the opening of Radio Riel's new headquarters build by Lord Primbroke...
This "Riel-ly Hot Bunneh" was joined by Lord Otenth and Mr Despres (as a hedgehog and duck, respectively) and we partied hard! A good time!

A Gift of Live Music and A Burning of Gifts!

Our Guvnah brought us all the gift of live music at the Gaeity Theatre in Penzance by inviting Argentinian band Shamanes, who were really great! Of course, rezzing for me was an issue so my pic of them is grayed out...They got the crowd moving and hooo'ing!
Here I am dancing salsa with Mr Tairov...Why am I standing here all dreamy-looking? The pretty lyrics to one of the songs was being sung to me in IM, that's why...heeeeee. It was great fun!! Thank you for the concert Guvnah!
Later on that evening I got an IM that Genie was having an anti-Valentine's bonfire in Steelhead and we all tossed pics and gifts of old SL flames and relationships past on there. It felt good and absolutely cathartic in a way to watch it BURRRRRNNNNNN!!!

Wandered Regency as a bunneh for my Sunday stroll...
Stopped by the aerodrome and showed Flight LT J8ke "Flash" Hawker my gorgeous beautiful steampunkily wonderful Raptor...Then he showed me his 290 prim zeppelin...oh...my...
Stopped through Carntaigh to celebrate Duchess Gabi's appearance on SLCN. The lovely dragon, Puff Mariner, was holding a board in her mouth saying "Play my song..."
Went to work my aether muse magic for my curmudgeonly dragon inventor employer Mr Dominic Webb. I did not know that a bunny attack would be part of the job description...how does this keep happening to me?

Wandering in Mayfair & Penzance

I thought I'd take a leisurely walk around my neighborhood of Mayfair to see if there are any new neighbors and build changes. One of the most interesting ones I found in the NW corner. "Mayfair Aviation?" I had to see more and climbed the ramp to the top where there was a lovely view...I turned around and smiled, seeing an air vehicle and all sorts of hangars and interesting things related to an aerodrome and such. I do hope there will not be many crashed vehicles in my backyard--especially knowing how I fly my own!
Walked down the road to the theater, which is gorgeous. I lowered the curtain and "Oooo!"

Parties, Parries, and Penzance

Received a note from Miss Kelley upon my arrival inworld, inviting me to join her in Speirling for a Monday Happy Party. How can I resist a happy party? Aren't those the best kind of all?As it hit shirtless (and skirtless) o'clock, I thought I would don a Guy Fawkes Day mask that Lady Amber was so kind as to provide...
Afterwards, I went over to Polymath Upstairs and watched Dia and Col. Somme play En Garde. Fascinating game. I shall try it one day, although I'm admittedly more of a hack 'n' slash type...
While roaming across Penzance, Dia tp'd me just to show me Dr. Sputnik's film studio lot! Ooo! How exciting! Thespians among our midst! Drama in Caledon! Who knew? I say that with quite a wry smile, you know...

First Party in Penzance!

Radio Riel's new headquarters will be in the lovely, vibrant Penzance sim's East coast, along the North-South train line. Duchess Carntaigh put up a temporary structure there until Lord Primbroke has completed the official one..What to do, what to do with a brand-new structure? She decided to have Penzance's first party, of course!
What better way to toast Penzance than a line of dancing girls (and guys!)
And those of us in our identical dresses made sure to be in sync!Even George the Wild Haggis stopped by...

A Look at Penzance!

Was in Mayfair and walked down the street from my shop to my neighbor Miss Paravane's Chaiwallah Tea & Curry for her latest recipe. I found this lovely (and free!) dress that she created!I thought I'd look at our latest sim, Penzance, and here is a view of Mayfair (there's my shop!)...
It's so nice to see all of the buildings going up! Theatres and shops...It'll be fantastic!
I couldn't stop saying "Ooo! Ooo! Ooo!"
