Beltane at Winterfell

I caught the tail end of Lady Eva's Beltane celebration at her castle in Winterfell. I took my end of the maypole ribbon and dipped and whirled with the others...

A Happy New Year to You All

I ran into Miss RubyRed Xue the other day, who is funny and delightful to talk to and describes herself as "steampink". We had originally met at the Duke of Argylle's Grand Tour underwater ball. She made me laugh as she donned her My Little Pony form and brass goggles. She tickled me so much that I couldn't help but to give her one of my hats, which ended up perfectly matching the color of her mane and tail. Why feature her for my end of the year post?

It's just that kind of bright optimism that makes being in here worthwhile...

A Happy New Year to you and yours!

Halloween Haunts In Winterfell & Steelhead

Halloween is easily my favorite holiday of the year. First, I popped through Port Novem in Winterfell...
Where I had a wee bit of poison...After stopping through Miss Underwood's well-attended encore reading for the Scary Stories Festival, I joined Miss Riven Homewood and a group of neighbors and visitors for the Steelhead Scary Homes Tour. Hanging noobs, sacrificial altars, HUGE spiders, fire everywhere...Miss Qinan and Mr Pinion really outdid themselves with their Mansion of Doom...
We visited Boomtown to see Mrs. Peterman's tower and Miss Underwood's home and cemetery. There was a surprise for us in one of the crypts...Over at Laval Point the group determined that there there had been quite a bit of blood shed and wondered where was Sheriff Fuzz? Of course, some wondered why I didn't share the rabbit stew... Tomorrow's costume dance will also announce the winner of the Steelhead's Spookiest Home. Be there...if you dare!

Spookiness at Laval Point

As I arrived at Laval Point, I realized that the skies were dark and lightning abounded. I looked around aghast...bloodstains everywhere, dead roses, the light turned to red, a fountain whose water was now blood. I looked over to the log home and there was a tiny chalk outline. A ghost silently glided through the fog. I looked across the way to the Pinion-Qinan home and it was lit afire and someone was hanged in the doorway. Steelhead is having rather spooky occurrences...come visit and see for yourself...
