Tiny by Sea and Air

I thought I'd take my little sailboat out for a spin. I think some folks in Morgaine did a double take at seeing a tiny ferret sail by...Afterwrads, I thought I'd test Denver Hax's tiny version of his JubJub Airship Bomber. It was a nice leisurely ride around the Firth to the Sound and back. It handled sim crossing very well and was easy to fly, using a Boomslang-style system...
And for once, I was actually able to land on the runway!

In a Purple Mood...

I was in quite a mood (as I am not cheerful all of the time) and took to brooding high in the sky above Morgaine at Mr Silverspar's beautiful ice castle...I soon had Miss Burton over to Laval Point for a fitting for a fashion show in the sim of Taupo on Saturday. She looks lovely in my BlueBrown dress...
...and in my Regency RedGold one. Here we are at Adam n Eve, shopping for shoes...
Sir Tele then invited me over to his new forge build at his home in the Cay. He will be offering weapons and fighting systems and hopes that Caledonians will stop through and enjoy them!

My New Inkyboy Gallery Build for Mr G. Hax!

YAY! For quite a while now I have been working on this build for the new location of Mr Gryffin Hax's Inkyboy Gallery in Regency! I act as Curator for him, so I am excited about this new place. Still some tweaks and little things I need to do as he moves from Eyre, but it is down in Regency and I think it is quite stunning! Oooooo... After we dropped and rezzed the Gallery, I headed over to Port Caledon for some chitchat with Dia... I was at Cape Messmer talking to Sir Tele, who was visiting Morgaine for the first time, for quite a while. Just as he left, I heard a buzzing overhead and walked to the Aerodrome. Instead of a plane, I found Lord Vid as a bee taking a break from a project and flying around. It is quite a nice AV!

Loch Avie Ceilidh & Cape Messmer Vernes Display

I put on my Caledon tartan gown that I whipped up and attended the Ceilidh at Loch Avie...There was a very nice turnout as we all danced...
But I was in a "mood" and decided to leave early to quietly work on my project at Cape Messmer in Morgaine. I have created a Vernes "From the Earth to the Moon" display and created a replica of the Melies space capsule. Do visit it and step inside! There is so much more to come!

Caledon Morgaine Officially Open!

Huzzah! Caledon Morgaine was officially opened tonight! Here is a snapshot of Professor Messmer looking rather dignified on what is now officially Cape Messmer. The Cape Messmer Aether Labs will be an interesting place to visit indeed. So much to prepare for it!
What you do not see is a photo of my gleefully running around the lab going "Hoooooooooooo!" The professor said it would probably take a machinima to capture it instead. Long live Caledon! Huzzah!

At Cape Messmer

While surveying the land from the bluffs at Cape Messmer in Morgaine, I could finally see the sim map grids and that meters had been set out...I always meet the most interesting folks at the Aerodrome complex! Here is Mr Mezz Lykin, showing us his galvanic portable telephonic communications unit that is run by "cell" batteries. We speculated as to the possibility of it weighing less than 80 lbs and possibly even being handheld one day!
A few young ladies, two from a parallel future, arrived in a Boomslang airship. They wondered if females were allowed to participate in the RCAF and were rather excited to find out that I was a pilot and our Commander is female as well. I told them women figure most prominently in Caledon's society and its military and that they would be most welcome!

A New Sim Emerges

One of the most interesting things you will ever witness in Caledon is the development of a new sim. I could not help but look on in awe at the new floating mountain as the Guvnah laid down the railroad tracks and flew about...And as I stood on the Cape Messmer bluffs overlooking the lands below it, all I could think was "This is going to be spectacular!"
I then saw Mr Gerami Fizz and the Guvnah creating a bridge for the railroad. I shall let the photos speak for themselves...

Caledon Morgaine, Pipin' Hot!

Here I am in my plane flying over Morgaine, fresh out of the LL oven! I can not wait to see what this will look like once it is terraformed and the amazing levitating mountain is added! My only problem was that upon hitting the sim crossing, I lost my wonderful plane--which was unfortunately no copy(!!!!) This is a situation that most of us have encountered at some point whether on land, air or sea. I am a designer and merchant myself, so I understand protecting one's work, but please vehicle designers--no copy equals a problem when sim crossings and full parcels make vehicle travel so unpredictable! Mod/Copy or No Mod/Copy is fine as long as it is no transfer! Arrrrgh!!

Pre-Thanksgiving Ball

I arrived a bit late to the Pre-Thanksgiving Ball at Loch Avie hosted by Her Grace Loch Avie and the Baroness Bardhaven due to being at the Steelhead Military Ball earlier. I did get there in time for the last three dances of the evening! First, I danced with Mr Hax, who looked so dashing in his Lancers uniform!I then danced with my neighbor and tiny partner-in-crime Lord Heron, who I am always glad to see out at these sort of events...
And finally, with the handsome Professor Messmer...
Whom I went to the Guvnah's Mansion afterwards to look at the plans for Morgaine with, as he will be building Cape Messmer/Messmer Rocket Labs there! The Guvnah himself appeared while we were there, concerned that the duchy of Middlesea went down...
He teleported us with him to Caledon On Sea to watch the Lindens at work trying to restore it. We were also joined by Mr Hax, Miss Callisto and Cap'n Trenton and had a very good time talking with the Guvnah. Middlesea issues aside, it was quite a treat to be able to chat with him for such a long time like that!
