Castle Wulfenbach Moved

Castle Wulfenbach, the fantastic airship created by Lunar for last year's Steelhead RFL site, has been moved to a more permanent home. Otenth, Jarl of Orcadia, was quite nice and offered for it to be moored on his lands so that others may see this wonder for themselves.

The Europan Consulate folks are still settling in, so do give them a moment to have things ready and officially invite everyone for visits.

Canines, Feathers and Jager Tipping

Last night I was strolling through Steelhead and saw a large gathering in Port Harbor. I walked over and was delighted to see a gathering of dogs and their owners as Miss Tanarian Davies has opened a dog park for the Virtual Kennel Club...I heard a hunt was going on in Caledon Lionsgate for elusive anniversary Caledon pounds minted by the Vicereine. They were indeed hard to find as they were very very tiny...Later on, I put on my feathered Brazilian samba finery and headed over to the Ballroom for the Mardi Gras dance...I was involved in a bit of jager-tipping last night. Mr Munster went over quite easily. Bunny: 5, Jager: 1. Please do not tell the Sheriff! My rap sheet seems to be getting longer and longer...

Jager Poetry Slam

For those of you who are familiar with Girl Genius, you'll know that jagers take their poetry slams quite literally. I put on my best Europan-style dress and headed over to the Huts des Jaegers in Winterfell Absinthe to join in on the fun. Let's just say that I could tell someone had just finished reading by the huge amounts of explosions I heard upon arrival...
I grabbed a mug of beer and quickly sat down at the table, not wishing to somehow end up almost two sims away like Frau Lowey...Later many of us put on our habits as befitting Steelhead's infamous Nuns with Guns, as fire, death rays, toilet paper, pies , parrots and other assorted items flew above us. You can see Miss Tanarian Davies and me below in one of her wonderful tiny habits (five versions according to religious order!) If you want a fun, silly time (with poetry mixed in!) , Jager Poetry Slam is held weekly. Contact Miss Annechen Lowey or any member of the Wulfenbach Consulate for more information!

Gogbot and Europan Celebrations

First, I attended a party in Steeltopia that was part of the GogBot Arts, Media and Technology Festival going on in the Netherlands...And then I headed over to celebrate with the Wulfenbach/Girl Genius folks at their "Spark Ball" celebrating the Europan Embassy's 1st anniversary in Steelhead...

Adventures in Mini-Steelhead

Finally, mini Steelhead Boomtown is done! Go to the Heroes 6 sim to see all three Steelhead sims in miniature for yourself!Mr Hassanov stopped by to show me his new shiny medal for his actions in Moscow...
And Lunar and I celebrated being finished with a dance in his beautiful Girl Genius/Wulfenbach-inspired airship that hovers above the site! The central ballroom section and balcony was inspired by this panel. Oh my...did I actually take a picture of him smiling??

When the Veil Is Thin

Tonight the Consulate of Europa threw a Walpurgisnacht celebration in Kittiwick. The dark spirits were cavorting around a rather large bonfire...Miss Myfanwy Davies looked rather stunning upon her flaming otherworldly horse...
And me? I had a wonderful time dancing and talking in a whirl of demon's wings with Mr Eclipse, who was in his demon form--very different from his almost glowing normal moon elf. Thank you for the dance sir, I had a fantastic time!

Thanksgiving Leftovers in Steelhead

The Steelhead Friday night dance had a Thanksgiving leftovers theme and we all turned out to the Hotel & Ballroom to dance and laugh...Mr Pinion and Ms Qinan came in matching Pilgrim ensembles...
Here I am dancing with Dr Mason, who became a bit overcome by the Spark towards the dance's end...eyes glazing over, an intense need to build...Oh my?
One of the entries in the "Create A Meal" contest...
But Steelhead's newest citizen, the Duke of Murdann, won it for arriving as his own form of leftovers--in pink Tupperware containers...
Afterwards I skated around and around and around in the frozen pond. Not really thinking...just gliding along...

Consulate of Europa Wulfenbach Reception

One of the biggest events of the day was the official opening reception of the Consulate of Europa Wulfenbach in Kitti...The Baron Wulfenbach before his maps...
Miss Tombola as the Madgirl herself...
Lord "Emperor Krosp I" Primbroke, who acted as DJ along with the Duchess of Carntaigh...
A fine selection of Bavarian treats, some made by Lady Primbroke!
The Consulate is definitely worth a visit and you may receive a special gift while there! I had a wonderful time.

Consulate of Europa Waistcoat Commission

I had the honor of being commissioned to create the official uniform waistcoats for the Baron Wulfenbach's Consulate of Europa staff. Here is Vice-Consul Annechen Lowey wearing it at the Steelhead consulate along with my ladies waistcoat ensemble and straw hat...

Stop, Drop and Roll

After Mr. Szondi (love the Girl Genius Jägerkin look and speech!) and I helped out Sir Tele with a texture in his home, our conversation went a little something like this:

Sir Tele: "Set me on fire. Shoot me with a fire arrow."
Me: "What?!" (shrugged as I put on and drew my bow)
Mr. Szondi: "Hyu vant her to do vat?!"
Sir Tele: "Go on, let's see if it'll work without a meter."

Let's just say that it worked. Someone pass the bucket of water please.
