Flames and Flowerballs...

Well, my fellow shopkeeper and steampunk inventor friend Mr Enoch stopped by to show me the more or less finished version of his gauntlet. I jumped back when the flames shot out! I do hope my kitty Nefi's whiskers aren't singed...I had shown him the DynaFleur exhibit and he showed me its earlier counterpart--the Flowerball exhibit --which I had been really disappointed all of this time about missing! I was delighted to find that it was still around at Princeton North and twirled within it! It was beautiful!

Tinies Primtionary and Oooo...Steam JumpBoots!

On the front row, from the left are me, Dia, and LordAlbert playing Primtionary in Raglan. We had way too much fun trying to guess the answers from what folks were building. If you ever want to join in the fun, head over to Raglan Shire and see for yourself! "Biggies" are welcome too!Mr Enoch's JumpBoot ads are out at his shops featuring yours truly in the black and steel version...
...and Dia in burgundy/red ones that seem to uncannily match her hair!

How to Be A Muse

I love helping folks work through ideas...suggesting things and coming up with plans and such that'll make things easier for them and for folks interacting with them. My mind is always clicking...anyone who knows me knows I'm a whirlwind of ideas. I even ran a SL classified for "Personal Muse Available" once on a whim. I actually got a response *laughs*.

I came inworld late tonight, so I thought I'd continue to help Mr Webb get his workshop in SkyBeam all sorted out. That one's truly a work in progress so I'll let you know how that goes. He says that it is funny how I sigh a lot...

Dia's Pseudo Farewell Funtime Party

Dia is going to away for awhile, so she thought that she'd have a get-together with friends. There is something to be said about smaller parties sometimes--a comfort level of sorts among one another that is refreshing...We were so tickled that the gents were in kilts and showing their marvelous tattoos that I fear Edwina, Duchess Eva and I were rather overcome...
There was a good turnout and we all had a fantastic time dancing, joking and even jello wrestling (Take THAT, O'Toole!). I personally could not stop laughing the whole time (Sorry I bit you Mr Offcourse!) and later found myself finding jello in very strange places. Even Sir Tele came out to dance with us... now that is something worth a swoon right there!
I made a rather dramatic exit with Mr Enoch in latest incarnation of the Spiral Lift Flyer. I do love the inventors and mad scientists of Caledon! "I will not end upside-down in the water again, will I?" I inquired before hopping in. "Why no!" he said as we flew over Port Caledon and the waters of Lionsgate. "Although that does seem to happen every time doesn't it? It shouldn't tonight though!"
Famous last words as I ended upside-down in water. It's official...I am Mr Enoch's personal crash tester.

E. Laval, Crash Tester & Steampunk Model

I love the inventors and scripters of Caledon. Their imaginations come to life within their creations and lead to interesting things happening on a regular basis. I was out sailing my tako the other day when Mr. Enoch whizzed by on his hovering aircraft and offered me a ride. Echoes of Capt. Trenton's "It's a prototype so...well...hope you have insurance..." when he offered me the Suicide Runner rang through my head, but I shook that feeling off and me being me...of course I hopped onboard!

Mr. Enoch and I whizzed over Caledon's Firth border sims and it was a lot of fun...and then the parcel hit. "Aaaiigh!" I said as we went down, upside-down in some water. Was this payback for my hair-raising Runner ride with him the other day? I laughed, wet, and turned the water out of my wings before hopping on again! So, when he asked for a model for his "Flaming Flying Piano" (which does play!) ad I was game. How could I resist dressing up AND a flying piano on fire? We got in some good shots before taking it for a spin...and hitting a parcel and ending up upside-down in Tangle!
"We really must stop ending our meetings this way Miss Laval!" he said. "I suppose," I said. "But where would the adventure and fun be in that?!"
