Caledon-Winterfell Ball

Tonight was the Winterfell-Caledon Ball celebrating the joining of our two nations. I heard it had crashed the sim at its original Winterfell location, so it was relocated to Cape Wrath...My escort for the evening was Prof. Messmer and thanks to RL and computer problems I arrived at the end of the 8th dance. Look at all the lovely gray people!
At least I had finished making my dress and I was happy with it. We indeed made the most of it and I enjoyed dancing with him...
Afterwards I put on a warm coat and we went skating in our finery at Steelhead...

Caledon Brigadoon Lands and A Christmas Carol

The Guvnah sent out a message that Brigadoon had landed and was a sandbox/ice rink. Of course I strapped on my skates and did jumps and tricks to my heart's content! How fun!Later that evening I went to the Radio Riel headquarters for a listening party of the first two chapters of one of my all-time favorite books, Dickens' A Christmas Carol. It seems Jagermeister Szondi loves it too as we were saying lines in unison ("No, your past."). I counted up to 4.5 "Humbugs" (Marley made Scrooge think twice about fully saying one!)
When it was over, Miss Nadir and I jigged as--inspired by the Fezziwig party--Duchess Gabi played "Roger de Coverley", the only song mentioned by name in a Dickens novel...
At the end, I joined Mr Offcourse and Dia in Port Caledon in his new workshop for a fun conversation as Mr Offcourse worked on his latest creation...

Winter Wonderlands

My neighbor Mr Sands has built a beautiful frozen pond across the street from my Regency home! Now I do not have far to go at all to skate!
I needed some tiny skates, so Lord took me to Raglan Shire, done up like a winter fantasy. I climbed to the top of the hill for a better view...
And rolled down it in an ice ball!
He then took me for a tour around the sim on the little train. I love the huge acorn building! I had a great time!

Skating Away!

A group of us--Dia, Eds, Lord, O'Toole, Mr Smashcan, and Mr Michael Dumont--gathered to skate at the rink in Carntaigh, going around and around and performing tricks. I love the chimneys on my steampunky skates...Roy took a break and sat along the sidelines with his shoulder Santa Cthulhu for a moment...
Dia and O'Toole going by...
I returned later that evening with the Professor and we had a lovely time gliding and talking...
