Riding Through Steelhead St Helens

I thought I'd saddle up Flashy and go for a ride through Steelhead St Helen's...
First killer deer and now bears?I love all of the flags from those who have climbed to the top of the mountain...
St Helen's is a beautiful, rustic sim with forests, streams, hot springs, and even a geyser! Every time I go back it is different. You'll have to see it for yourself...

Racing Through Steelhead

From elephants to snails to steampunked wheelchairs, we all gathered in Steelhead Harborside for the Steelhead Wrangler Cup Race last night. Mr Daines had a bit of a mishap with his shopping cart...
We lined up at the starting gate, awaiting the countdown to race through three sims for the coveted Wrangler Cup! My tiny pony Yin and I galloped quickly through Steelhead along with the others...Afterwards, in the Harborside Commons, we waited for Doc Wrangler to tell us the race results...
Second place was Frau Lowey, but the winner of the First Annual Steelhead Wrangler Cup Horse Race was VelesJaeger Munster!
I'm sure that everyone had a great time and couldn't stop laughing like I was, so it was only fitting for everyone to have fun dancing after all of the craziness! It really was a lot of fun.

Sleighs and Other...Regency Things

I thought I'd try to get a bit of work done in the shop and heard the jingle of sleigh bells coming my way. I looked out and saw Miss Tombola testing her horse and sleigh, which will be available for tours of the Northern sims (Regency to Penzance, Eyre and a Tangle loop) quite soon. She told me that they are also tiny compatible!
I am a bit concerned about Mother Swan and her cygnets swimming in such icy water......but Mr Palisades' upside-down peacocks do concern me ever so slightly more...

A Jaunt Around Harborside

I took my roan, Red, out with my Tombola Stanhope carriage for a spin around Harborside. Things started out well enough, then this...I realized that it was an AO quirk that caused it and removed the offending item. I then called out to Red, starting off at a trot, then sped up into a canter and then full gallop. I somehow lost my hat along the way as the houses whizzed by me. I am normally a rather adept horsewoman, but I cut my turn a little close and overshot it, hitting the sim crossing into the City instead. Poor Red...

A Gallop Through Caledon

I was next door in Mayfair and heard that the new Steelhead Embassy in Penzance had been completed, so I hopped on Flashy and rode over. I tethered him and took a look at the beautiful new building...
Afterwards I did something that I used to really enjoy: a cross-nation gallop. North-South Road from Penzance to Vic City, then West through the Moors to Tamrannoch...
From there I took the East-West Road straight across to Caledon I, where I found some water for Flashy and celebrated our ride by having a pleasant turkey twirl...
When I arrived back at the shop in Regency, I found Zoe there and we had a really good time chatting and catching up. I would say that I had a very good evening indeed...

Have Tiny Horse, Will Travel

I thought that perhaps I should take my pony Lila out for a ride. I am sure that if more folks had been out, seeing me galloping by as a tiny ferret would have been quite a sight. We ended our rather epic journey at Dark Lady Park in my beloved Mayfair, where someone had been kind enough to set out a horse trough with water!

Dancing, Dates, and Delight

I walked down the street from my Regency home to Miss Hirvi's park, where she was debuting Miss Maar Auer's minuet danceballs. They were quite well-done, and it was fun seeing all of us doing this...I'm sure we will be seeing them at future Caledon get-togethers...
After stopping through to congratulate Mr Smashcan on the opening of his new Norseman pub in Cape Wrath, Phin and I then went to the future 1950s-themed Team Caledon RFL Ladies Auction, where he ended up being the big bidder on me! The auction itself raised over $L328,000! Thank you all so much for coming out and participating!
A new friend, in exchange for a kindness of mine, gifted me with this gorgeous Friesian horse. The realistic look of this horse is incredible. I hope she will come out with a sidesaddle version, but it is still a work in progress by the maker and doesn't ride as well as my AKK and Tombolas (yet). But you know what they say about gift horses, so thank you very much sir!

Flashy & Fashion

Thought I would take Flashy for a gallop through Harborside and Steelhead City...Which somehow turned into a gallop UNDER Steelhead City...
Afterwards, I attended the Taupo fashion show. My, I have had a busy weekend shop- and show-wise! You may view one of my pieces being modeled HERE.

Tinies on the Gallop!

I saw LordAlbert's tiny horse by Miss Peaches Latrell and had...to...have...one. "Lola" is as fast (if not faster!) than my wonderful full-sized steed Flashy. I could not believe how easy Lola is to ride and how responsive. A wonderful horse indeed! Lord and I took off at full gallop through Regency, Eyre, and Tangle before joining Edwina at Heron's Nest in Kitti...Where you could find me happily happily swinging...

Steelhead & Scarecrows

Ran the Steelhead Horse Race again...with a similar result. I was in the lead cutting the corner near the bay when Flashy froze. Everything else around including me could move, but not him! Got him together again only to freeze on the opposite corner of the pier. My frustrated shout could probably be heard in the next sim. One more time right at the finish line after watching folks pass me again again and again was too much. O'Toole even found his racing ostritch Petunia high in the air and others froze too, but it was still a fun race and a good course! Congrats to His Grace Otenth Padenborn and Lady Dia.

Oh! And I won 2nd place in the Steelhead scarecrow contest! Hooray! If you'd like one, you may find it for sale at either of my shop locations!Speaking of crows, Mr. Goodliffe has decided to open "Puck's Corvus Sanctuary" as a haven for ravens, crows, blackbirds, vultures and bats to fly free until November. I suppose I shall be making a sign tomorrow...
And of course my evening ending dancing with Radio Riel at the Rock Factory!
